What is Naturopathy?
Naturopathy is a holistic approach to wellness that emphasizes
prevention and the self-healing process. Naturopathic doctors use non invasive modalities such as herbal remedies, diet and lifestyle modification.
What should I expect at my fist visit?
Our first visit will include a complete health history, individualized recommendations and a first acupuncture treatment. This will typically take about 90 minutes.
Are Naturopathic doctors licensed?
The State of Indiana does not yet offer licensure to naturopathic doctors. Due to this, Dr. Walker holds an active license from the state of Hawaii. Dr. Walker works to provide wellness consultations in the state of Indiana. Does acupuncture hurt?
Acupuncture is not sensation-less. The needles used are very thin but you will still feel them on initial insertion. Once the needles are in, however, they should not cause you any discomfort.
How long will it take to get results?
It depends- some people will see results after only 1 treatment. For others with a long history of chronic issues, results may take multiple treatments. At your initial visit, your practitioner will present a treatment plan to you.
